For a while I was thinking to use Alexa ranks table and create some useful tools for myself. When I did it I realized that it can be useful for others too. So I’ve developed this website. The design is very simple, without single graphical element. Some would say the website is for geeks only. I don't know, maybe. However this simple web site based on a robust back-end, consisting of MySQL DB with about 100 tables and 7 cronjobs. The site is fully automated, it updates by itself with fresh data every day. There are 4 tools, which will help you in your Internet research. 1. Shows Alexa rank changes or traffic changes for top 10000 websites. 2. Searching keywords in top ~2 million domain names. You can use this tool during the search for your new domain name or for researching the internet. 3. Did you ever wonder who the most popular (successful) dating sites are , SEO sites are etc. This tool will help you to do just that. 4. Get bulk Alexa ranks for your websites Here is the address: www.top10k.com Thanks for reading. Please give your feedback to make this website more useful. Thank you.
basically it looks clear and it's well explined, a proper logo is something you should add, but I had tested one of the feature and it doesn't seem to give correct answer
Thanks for visiting my site. Can you be more specific? Which feature are you talking about? I've just checked, everything seems to works fine.
Overall I think the site is a great idea, using Alexa ranks to provide useful info, I would be interested to see how the site evolves to provide more pages and more ways of digesting data. Since there are three major parts to the site I'll comment on each individually: 1. Traffic Ups and Downs is quite useful information for web-marketers, however by default the sorting is by page rank, I think the default sorting should be by the biggest movers last week, and it shouldn't matter whether change was negative or positive 2. Searching for keywords in top webistes is an interesting concept how does this differ from Alexa searching though, and mind you Alexa does provide sorting etc. 3. The category list is interesting but a bit static, how was it created?
Alexa does not do keyword search in domain names, it searches websites like other search engines. Thanks for your comment.
impressive, what it lacks in visual design it more than makes up for it providing useful information backend. Will be bookmarking this site for future reference and interested to see how it develops in the future. Regards Tony
