I had my site(www.inkjetoffice.com) up and running for few months now. I've about 200 backlinks. However, I still can't get even a PR=1. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my site and how to get a reasonable PR? Your comment is much appreciated.
Hi I have quickly analyzed your site using SEO Elite and most of your backlinks are very low ranked and are irelevant to your content. I suggest you starting blogging, blogs get indexed quickly if you submit them to bookmarking sites like digg, stumble uopn, technorati and also to directories. Give you an example i have approx 4 months old industrial machinery website and recently i go my main website ranked 1 and my blog ranked 3, all i did was installed wordpress blog on my web server this is easily done through cpanel. I hope this helps. PS: Choose right keywords and optimize your site for best results in SERPS. There is a great free SEO ebook written by Dan Thies available here http://www.seofaststart.com/download and you check out his main blog here for more information about almost any subject on SEO for your site http://www.seofaststart.com All the best Ash
Thats really not that many back links and if you go to yahoos site explorer it only shows you have a couple a hundred links but there mostly from the same few websites so really thats like only having a few links. You need to get good links on separate Ip's from a similar industry to really get started.
