It's a good start but I don't personally like the scrolling text, especially the blue text. "Where Fantasy Becomes Reality" needs to stick out more... and use text instead of an image. Try to SEO the urls a bit. If you're using apache you can use mod_rewrite to change: http://www.fantasypc.frih.net/modules.php?name=Topics to: http://www.fantasypc.frih.net/Topics .. for example. There is heavy usage of images. It might be a good idea to replace some images (or parts of images) which are used as backgrounds (which are a single colour) with CSS styles instead. Analyse the various sections of your site with web page analyzer as you're optimising it so you can see the increases in speed and the various areas which need improvement. By the way - the top right image is very nice.
Ok thanks for the feedback. As my site is full of content. It is made from phpnuke which has a lot of files and mods. I put a lot of stuff on my site to make it look big and more content wise. It loads slow the first couple times, but when you go after 2 times it saves in cache and its fast as ligthing for me.
Ok for the most part the website is good BUT 1. THE CLOCK REALLY NEEDS A CHANGE(try and match it with the skin) 2. The skin also needs a change(blue is fine but change the design)...and that's ALL of the things I don't like about your site... NOW the good things.... 1. It has some solid content and I also think the scrolling text is good 2. It has an arcade 3. I like the fact that you make the portal smooth... 4. I can't think of any more but you website is pretty good
I'd like to add one comment that may help: I find the home page has way too much text in the main section of the page. Cut it down by 75%, and maybe people will read it. Content is fine ... the scrolling text should be slowed down a little. Good luck with the site...
Text is too small so it is difficult to read. I don't like the colour of your website too. Too bored.
It is very hard to change themes, and I am looking my best to find a flash template that works with all the mods.
