I think I've pretty much completed my site and wondered what you guys think of it. I know there aren't any posts yet, but other than that I would like to know what you guys think.

Also, do you guys think the Google Ads are good with the red in the title link or should it be white or something else. Thanks for looking at the site.

 

Sorry to say but I didn't like the colour combination. It's my personal opn, may be other visitors like it but I don't.

 

well, it's a site for the Cubs and those are their colors, so that's what i'm thinking. thanks for looking though.

PLease cjange the hurting blue color. you can change it to the color this forum has www.webmaster-talk.com

 

is the color really that bad? it's the Cubs colors, so it kind of fits with what the site is about. other than thinking the blue is bad, does anybody think the site looks good or have any other suggestions?

 

Maybe use more saturated colours, as atm there is too much contrast.

Good layout though.

Take the ads off the side and top. Put them in between posts for unregistered users only.

You might not even want them in there while you are growing it. Is the couple of bucks really worth it if you lose hundreds of registrations?

 

i'm not sure the ads are that bad where they are. do you think not having anything on the right side at all is better (like DP here)?

I don't have a problem with the blue. It looks good.
