The contents are unique and informative but the template design and color schemes looks simple and bit old.Adding a professional template will impress visitors more..
To be honest, I was never really happy with the template I used but I intended to keep it a bit on the simple side, as many of my visitors are brain surgery survivors. I know from my own experience that for a considerable time after the surgery you have a difficult time dealing with anything cluttered or complex. Also consider that the average age of my visitors (and targeted visitors) is 40+, so they might prefer something a bit simpler. Still, in time I think I will change it.
I think it's great. Easy to read and find your way around...just what you want considering your target audience as you said.
Thanks Dradden, and everyone who has responded. I did want it to be easy to maneuver around. I plan to add much more information in the next week or so and hope I can keep it easy to find your way around. Anyone have any suggestions for helping to improve search engine ranking or will they just be a matter of age. I am adding links whenever and wherever I can, worked on keywords and getting those into my front page text. What else can I do? In particular for google. I have been indexed by them but not doing well on the best search terms, "Aneurysm". When this term is searched the site does not show up at all in the returns.
