Not bad, similar to how my bogs are. you might want to include a opt in form so you can get your visitors names and email addresses.

Nice site Mike - The content is great, but you should host this on your own domain if you want users to take you seriously. Maybe use Wordpress?

I think you blend you ads with background. And there are loads of blogger themes available, you should pick something good.
I feel that it's just too plain and simple. There are tons of blogger templates out there and it will definitely make your blog look different. Currently with the white background, it seems to switch my focus more towards the 2 image ads and 1 ad unit located on top.

The template is not much impressive but the articles was very interesting and had a great time in reading it.
