Maybe try to make it clear what a bhajan is? I'm sure those that are interested in the site will know what one is but for those who dont, may be helpful if its on the splash page.

Good attempt at designing a website though I have to agree with thenoose, that it needs to be more professional.
I agree with the others on the notice on the front page. Just a suggestion but if you blended and faded the edges and rounded the corners of that white box it might tie in more. Just like the little tile images of the background. Make the page softer and more welcoming. Cool site. On your homepage you should make the text narrower so it doesn't hit the border. I'm not sure how you built the site but you can probly just put the text in it's own Div to fix this problem.
