I think it's a good start. You have a lot of yellow going on, but if you like it, then stick with it. I think you need to add pictures of food, or people in a kitchen cooking, etc....more food related pictures and graphics. This will help make your site look like a great recipe site. I know there are a ton of food fourms, join them, set up a signature with a link to you site and promote/advertise that way. Great start and good luck with it.
I dont know about all that yellow to be honest with you. You could keep that much yellow if you add pictures and more content. One thing I really love when I visit a site for a recipe is a rating system for the recipes by people who are surfing your webpage. That way you can have a general idea that the recipe is good. Just something to think about. And good luck.
Cheers for the advice that’s great. Yellow is a little wow but I do like it I think it will look a little bit less wow when I add pictures. Adding pictures and graphics or having a nice header will make your site better-looking. So far, it is neat. Will be glad to check it again.
This is a good start, but I wonder why you did not center the pages. There are too many Google ads on your pages, but your content (text) is missing.

I m not taking any action against u. But this is a serious Advice. I think u shd go for a decent design and add lot of pictures and keep it short. It will be amazing and ppl would like to come back again.

I have gone with the blue and black website done just need to start adding more recipes and a few pictures here and there what do you think now I have also added a rating to each recipe
I would suggest to place your ad on top where the visitors will first see than the bottom. Just my 2 cents
I was thinking of doing this but there would be no ads at the bottom then. I will see how i go with this and if its not working i will move them about. the site look to dummy with that color. The arrangement of categories is poor and please make it like a good site one. This is just too HTML basic, you can try using wordpress at least that was the easier to work with your site.
