Please review my Recipe website.

Hello everyone,

This weekend I spent about an hour or so and created Ethnic Recipe Info, my own small ethnic recipe website.

I'll admit right now that this is not my best looking website. I didn't put a lot of work or thought into the design. Basically I'm just going to see what kind of search engine traffic I can get to start and then in about a month I'll do some more work on it.

However, I was wondering what you thought of it so far. I've setup search engine friendly urls for all the recipes and done a little SEO work. I'll improve on the SEO work in about a month when I come back to the project (lots of other stuff to work on).

What do you think? What improvements should I make?

Pictures -- you need some photos of food, even if not of the recipes themselves. They say we eat with our eyes first -- gotta get people in the mood for food!

 

I was browsing your linked websites. It seems you have created quite a large web. How's it going with the affiliate income? I'm trying to do the same. I like your ideas. How many sites do you have?

Income is decent. I build most of my sites to sell. I like the quick buck (even if it takes a few months to build up ). I recently sold a good % of my sites, but I'm building back up. I currently have like 10 sites and a million projects

I would create a header design that's will stand out more than the ad on the top area of the site.

I've been developing websites for about 4-5 years probably now. I started selling my work about two years ago I think.

You should start a new thread to have users review your site as well.

It got Stumbled the other day (not by me) and had 905 unique visitors stop by in one day.
