Please review my recently bought website.

I recently bought a website called Deals Located. It seems to get quite a few views and has a lot of potential, but I cannot figure out how to take advantage of this.

Please tell me what can be improved.

It's not a bad looking site. I would change a few things though. It needs more color. It's kind of grayish white and dull right now. Also I'd make it show the site displays more than just "snippits" of the content. Give images and contend directly from the original posts on the main page.

 

i would say you should improve on the logo, it looks dull

 

i don't like the color. First impression is important, I think you should change it.

According to me its an average site , its good but not very good, you should work on theme a bit to make it more attractive

i think you have a nice domain name for your chosen topic. you might want to get more content though.

 

Agree with koobuz nice domain, but the site needs some loving - its a bit drab

Your stats are wrong, so they need to be sorted out,

I noticed you have a forum integrated so i would suggest you create 20 or so categories in the forum and get some peeps from dp to kick off the forum by paying them to do some paid posts, maybe 20 posts in each new cat. should get you started off and pull in some traffic whilst adding content to your site

Sort out your onsite seo - you have no h1 tags and your description and keywords are poor

When you get some traffic i would suggest you have a good think about monetizing the site in addition to the current aff links

Links - You could also make the current links easier to click on - it took me 5 attempts to click through to play - maybe add a nice big shiny button

 

Looks a little boring. More colors and more info on the first page would help. I lose interest very quickly and so do many others.

 

Very nice theme! But it's not a interactive website I think. But it's my opinion, I don't know what others might think.

 

Change the color scheme of the site...entirely if you can. The color doesn't fit you niche...doesn't make any visual impact. Goodluck to you!

 

I myself don't like the logo as it gets cut off at the end and the whole drop shadow effect isn't working, a new logo would eb nice, the site itself looks great

 

IMO poor design and content quality. You need to work on both aspects of it.

 

But I think you need to manage it because I need long time to open your blog ( Loading)

 

I liked the layout of the site but You should make it brighter couse right now it looks rather colourless

 

The theme is very simple and not much impressive.I like the layout but the template need to decorate more with attractive color schemes to impress visitors.
