All your internal links open in a new window - not good! As for SEO, you have no <h> tags - you have limited content - image thumbnails need to be resized before placed in the HTML code
In terms of colour and design, it's really good! I really like the green background, fits in quite well with the content of the site. ^^
Links open in new window - annoying. After clicking the first link people will not click anything else. Adding some text in the page help to understand what is the site about. I could not figure that out. If you really want to do something with it you should re-design it from scratch.
The background is not suitable for the site and logo, try some other color. The images are loading too slow.

images load a little slow. If I were you I'd give a different setup for your different topics, as a small single thumbnail by the topic name, in columns or one single column going down the page but first with featured images at the top and a gradient green instead of a solid color background
