I recently developed http://www.didiask.com with hopes that I could get viral traffic from myspace bulletins. I haven't really tried to promote it yet as I was waiting for it to get indexed and move out of the PR0 (google pagerank) zone. Now its at PR1 and the pages are indexed, so I would like advice on how to get the viral movement going.

    Idea behind the site:
    - Let users submit their myspace link
    - Give them bulletin code and image to put on their site that has a direct link to their vote page
    - Whoever has the most votes for their category gets a link on the homepage (which hopefully will have good PR if it takes off)
    - Votes store the IP so people can vote once per hour, per category. If things pick up and bots are voting for people, Ill add CAPTCHA.
    - The blank area to the left of the categories is set up for a google skyscraper but I have it commented out until I get good traffic

So, if you would, provide me with tips or ideas to get this off the ground.

    Thanks

Good idea for a site, sounds like fun !

Just a quick review on design.
I'm no expert, just opinion :)

    Perhaps add some pictures/graphics.
    Site needs some more colour
    Good luck with it
    Cheers

I like the concept , but since you are aiming to bring traffic to the person's myspace page, you really need to get high PR and alotta traffic quick !

Besides that the design is really plain, and unattractive. Perhaps some pictures will be nice. Pictures of the hottest girl voted, best bands or whatever.

    Cheers mate :)
