Is there no one in our beloved community that wants to help out a fellow DP'er? I have good reason to ask for this review to in this way. I want my site to be a private members site and if I post a like here google will index the backlink. I just want one person I promise I am not selling anything.

If this is a private webmasters area (I assume perhaps you will be discussing things that you don't want other ppl to see like blackhat stuff??), why would they want their vid's on social networks? If this is NOT for blackhat or stuff you NEED to keep private, why have a private site for it? If this is by invitation only, which members are going to refer the seasoned webmasters that will add value, or how will you attract these same people to your site? I like the fact that you allow video posts, but I personally would rather read posts. I like to scim and condense the posts quickly to see if I want to spend the few minutes to go over the info in it's entirety. I don't think I would really like opening 20 vids only to find out I don't want the info being presented. Overall, a private members only site is a PLUS, but from reading what is there currently, I personally would not join (benefits are private as well and indicated with only a ...) If you are making a bh site - state so, plenty of ppl would be interested. If you are keeping things private to discuss hidden niches, state that you are keeping things private to prevent a flood of competition ... Do allow vid post (cool idea), but why limit members to ONLY vid posts? And lastly, is this a Social Club or a mentoring / think tank club? There ya go, my impressions of the site as it currently stands. I hope you can see things from my perspective so you can better allow your visitors to see YOUR vision Good job on the site so far. A private social networking site run on wordpress? Well a few issues here, I think the idea is ok. The execution of it through wordpress, I think there are better options out there. Also, I don't really see any member benefits for joining your site.
Tammy: Thanks for the review. It is not meant for black hat discussions but I am sure some members will have black hat topics they want to talk about. Its is for the discussion of ideas for blog owners. Example: we both have blogs and you have an idea for a joint venture you can go there and find me or other blog owner that you know are in the same niche and would be interested without making it public before its released. I see you point about the video only posting. I think I will change that. I want to build a more personal community that would inspire trust between members and having a real face would get that ball rolling. I have a list of webmasters that I will invite some have already signed up. After it start getting some action im sure it will catch on. I will not be creating the content for it the members will be posting their topics and discussing it. there will be no ads, selling of anything, affiliate links or anything of the sort. I might charge a members fee but I am 50/50 on that. Its is a think tank club. Avitus: I think wordpress is a great choice. The only problem I can see is a few security holes but nothing serious and someone Is helping me plug these as we speak. it will not be indexed in search engines so it will be hard to find to hack in the first place. There are many benefits to joining. Some people have asked me what will make it different from forums like DP. I see DP as a place to get ideas I know if you have an idea you would not come here to discuss it with others you would want to talk to your friends and people that you trust. Well what if you had a place to discuss your idea with people you can trust in the same niche that would understand and help you better. This is my vision. Like sakto said no man is an island.
