I think the site would look better if you got a more professional theme. It's difficult
to read the text in the header of the site you should use a different font.

 

left column is a bit empty.

 

I think the text is slightly small to read comfortably for a long time.

Try changing the body css style's font size from 70% to 80%. And change the font color in the menu at the top to a lighter color which will make it stand out better against the dark background.
