Hello I have just launched a personal finance blog and require some reviews on the design and content. Here is my blog: http://www.personalfinancenote.com/
That looks really good. Although when it comes to personal finance I think i've pretty much learned all i need to know from playing cashflow when I was young. I've heard that cashflow is free now and anyone can play it, all you need to do is sign up for an account at richdad.com to play. If you do play send me a pm i've been trying to get into a game all day.
The design is nice and the website loads quickly. The phrase "Financial Account" could be a little cleaner looking. You can do this by making the font bold or even changing the font to something not written in script. However, the content isn't very well written. The audience you seem to be looking for are adults who want to learn about finance and want to be able to apply what you are teaching them so that they can save money, etc. I don't think that your writing would be very appealing to this audience. I have read the articles on the first page and they all start off by telling the reader the problem that they already have. Then, the addressing of the problem is not well communicated. I understand that finance and your thoughts about it are difficult to convey, but you have to do a better job. Maybe read a book about writing. I recommend On Writing Well by William Zinsser.
Theme is good, but still you can improve it. Design is ok, but name does't like so catchy. ( Personal Finance Note ) so as the tag line. You can think on adding more pictures, it really makes good impact. You can also focus on Mutual Funds, Wealth Management and Retirement Planning with example to make it more live.
