The header picture is very big. I think that cat picture over the pyramids doesn’t fit too good. I think you shouldn’t underline and center the titles Try to use some sand color shade on the background. I think having just flags is enough for language selection, which could be moved to the top. Remove outset borders from the content. Link Exchange Program could be done to the right, as now language selection and link exchange program ate too much valuable space, though having the empty space is good, but done not this way.

I would change the header image because it looks a little amateurish (no offence intended) .. perhaps you could get a custom designed header. navigation is fine with mine .. maybe try going with a left or right sidebar

 

header pic of Cat is too big and cat look very old, pic should small and bleak color.

 

it is nice.. but as somone mentioned the header picture is big.. just make it smaller...

Try to make the header smaller in height and the buttons maybe a bit larger.
