I just feel that the image which you use for the header doesn't quite really reflect a webmasters' blog. Looks something like a men's fashion blog to me. Other aspect like content should be ok.

 

The theme of the blog does not match the content, you should get a more
unique theme.

The background also suggests the same thing
The text is too small ... sorry my eyes r small

 

I believe he will change it after come back from class. Webmaster blog is quite competitive unless you can provide latest information on time and have a unique content.
