    Hey there,

I have launched a new website 2 days ago, and i need your reviews.

    Its...

    http://www.wsurl.com

Basically, people can type in a domain name, and it will go and display data, rankings, backlinks, thumbnails, graphs and more stats on your site.

Please check it out, and tell me what needs to be improved, and what you like about it.

Also, only the home page is up at the moment, but the other pages will be up shortly.

    :D

Ok, how long do you give it??

It can take from 10 seconds, up to 1 minute.

Also, what browser are you using??

Yes, it displays the number (stats) before the word in internet exploerer 6 and 7.

It works fine in firefox, opera and safari. Can anyone tell me what it looks like in any other browsers?

And i am going to fix ie6 transparency issues tonight, and ie 6 and 7 text issues, so the stat numbers are displayed on the right.

And does the background look ok?

    the background looks good!!
however, i think u should try to fix the long waiting time issue...
i believe no user will stay if a web site doesnt response them within 30sec...

    just my two cents...

Ok, here is how the system is designed...

Basically, a user types in a domain name. Then it has to load up all of the websites where the data comes from, grab the data out of the page, then once it has gathered all the data, it then displays it.

So put it this way, if one of the sites that it grabs the data from is taking a long time to load, its going to make you wait longer, because it only displays the info once it has all the data. So if it has all the data appart from 1 piece, and that website its trying to get it from is taking ages to load, it wont display it until you have all the data.

I might try and fix this so that it displays each bit of data when it loads, and not waits until it has all the data.
