iProtest Please let me know what you think of my new web 2.0 site that allows users to protest whatever they would like. Also, I am looking for partnerships to get the word out about the site. Jon
You should add a description or a slogan, something that makes user instantly realize what the hell this is all about. I don't like the design, the logo is alright but orange and blue doesn't match in my eyes and the awful spacing between each button doesn't make up for it. Except from that it looks quite good.
hell ya, your site looks alright, but you definitely need a cool attention grabbing slogan (like "against anything"..). i would give this even more weight than the logo creation (for now) cause the site's main purpose is all about expressing strong opinions (left vs. right). what you should definitely think about (i'm sure you did that already. but it's worth to mention) is making it possible to users to protest via.... video messages. this really could result in some great conversations - yep even exciting "word battles".
I think the site's ok, but you need more content on it. I think I can write up some nice content for your site myself. I'll do this at a fixed rate of $0.07 p/word. Tell me how many articles you want and what titles, I'll get the ball rolling. Oh, and did I mention the increased traffic you will be getting?!! Yours is a good site nonetheless!
Thanks for all the comments. I actually find it kind of ironic some of you like the blue and orange design, and some hated it. I definitely agree on adding a catchy slogan on the header. That is a good idea because do to the minimalistic style of the design, there is not a lot to tell the user what the site is about. I'm not too sure how I would make the site less calm. But I understand what you are saying. As far as allowing videos, that is not a bad idea. Will have to think about how I could implement this. Keep the comments coming! Jon
Interesting idea for a site. Is it your own design or did you use a generic script? I like the general design but feel it could be a little more 'edgy'. Think the site could be really succesful with a bit of promotion. Thanks, Paul
