The problem with an entry page in flash is that an SE can't read it. It won't be able to follow the link in. If you're really insisting on a flash splash page then put 'skip intro' as a normal text link below the flash intro. For each page's title (e.g. on airport you have airport), use <h1> tags - the text size can be reduced using CSS. As for pages with a graphic Using div, for example Welcome, you can make welcome text and still use the star background. This can be achieved by using div. In fact, for the navigation, javascript can be dropped altogether and just use CSS. This would make the page a lot faster to load. Use tables less and div more. This will again make the page a lot quicker to load. Just put the CSS in a .css file and once loaded it will be used across every page. This will make for a lot less bandwidth usage and time to load pages. Plus classes can easily be reused. No need to write the same style twice. Good luck.
pretty much what i was going to say! lol if i were you i would take the splash page out all together. It wont do you any favours in the SE's. I like the site design though Good Luck with it!
Very nicely designed website, I like the flash on the front page especially. Maybe you could add alt tags to those images for SEO purpose since I saw quite a lot images there on your site. Just one advice.
oooh, very good. Just a tidbit - the initial page shows some blue/white text in front of a blue image making it a little difficult to read. Otherwise, looks like a very welcoming site that lures visitors to click on deeper into your site - congrats.
Sorry for delay in Thanking all, my computer was out of order. Thanks all for the nice comments and suggestions
Hi Terry, Drop the flash splash. No one pays attention to them and they are annoying. Sorry to be blunt but I'm only being honest As soon as you click the flash and get into the site it looks *much* better. I really like the design and the colours look good! The flash looks good on the content (it adds sparkle) and is perfectly suited to your limos, IMO. Regards Stuey
