Hi everyone! I have started a new site aimed at selling photographs, and I would like your opinions as to the design, and especially, how I am doing with SEO. The site looks very 1995; I would strongly suggest working on the design, or reading a bit about web design. When people see a site like that they usually tune out before they even read the content. You have some very nice photos there though. I would also suggest using some sort of gallery software system if you aren't already.
I'd suggest having constant navigation throughout the site. i.e. you only have your internal links on the homepage, then after that it's a 'return to homepage' style. Dependant upon your server you could set up a php include or a server side include
Honestly, I think the site needs a whole re-design... (an actual layout design). The colors in the background kind of clash with your green buttons. Here are suggestions: - Add a nice header design + your site's name - Change the background color to a pale green (much like what this forum has) - Keep the buttons design, but make the light shadow that's white.. less harsh
Yeah :\ the site should be re-done... I would suggest building it on a CMS this way purchases and images could be handled easier
