Hello all DPers, I have put a lot of effort into my new online bookmarking service. All feedback and suggestions will be appreciated Thanks! www.yohomepage.com
I really like the design and the outlook of the website but afsiter using the website i still dont understand why its the links not public.
It looks simple but nice. One thing I noticed immediately: You spelled the word "Clickitz" on the left and "Clickits" on the right.
Thanks everyone for the feedback, Élan I didn't realise that small spelling mistake I''ll change that right away
Before speaking about design, I think you should look for another structure for the website: - Tell people clearly with some big fonts what your site does exactly. - what does mean "Your Top 10 Clickitz"? why you have it again at the right of the page? actually I just understood what you want to say with the right image but not everybody can understand it. for the design: - instead of using a paragraph for "Why should you join us?" , just make a list (put each reason in a separate line ) -for "250 Guest Pass's to be had!" text, maybe just say "250 Pass left" and instead of a static "250" put a counterdown (if you have some a nice flow of members, otherwise don't) -keep more space between lines
Pretty simple but professional site, i really appreciate your hard work, very good but add more contents to your site
Nice Simple Design, You should style the Sign Up form so it looks more Web 2.0 and like Seni said, to use the 250 Pass Left and actually have it countdown (this can be done with PHP, I can create the code for you for a small price.) Other than those 2 things everything is else is great its Simple and Professional Looking that is what matters the most.
Thanks again for your comments everyone. Seni I've taken your advice and re-worded the front page so it tells the visitor exatcly what the site does. Webjax thank you but my friend will make the count down timer
I would say its really nice and very good unique design, i like the color scheme used by you and images used by you
It looks clean and uncluttered, but can you argue how is it special compared to similar tools out there?
