Please review my new free link directory

Hi to all!

I made new link directory http://www.pickedlinks.com.

Please give me your opinions about design and functionality.

I use links from my old directory but any new links entered during the testing will remain in directory.

If You expirience any kind of trouble or bug please let me know.

What will I change if I were you:

1) make the title bigger

2) create one slogan/USP ~ put below the title

3) create simple but nice logo ~ put together with site title & USP/slogan

4) sponsor column is blank? put somthing there for a while, may be your other directories/sites

5) change the current red color to brighter red

In terms of features, I find it well balanced on links, search and other offerings. I think that adding more migth overload the page.

I would say that it looks ok but I would add a decent logo and change the pink color to blue.

 

No traffic yet. its quite new. links are from my other directories.

man make the pink or red color more eye pleasent. choose a logo, not just home, or some words, increase the font size on the home page regarding directory sections.

Yes DB was overloaded for a while but should work fine now.

So colors are realy that bad?

try to use www.colorscheme.com and get smth from there.
