Please review my new forum

Hi all,

I have just setup a new PHP forum which will save many PHP developers searching large forums like this one for PHP answers and like minded PHP developers/Guru for support. Here is the forum: PHP Forum

Please post your reviews about anything that comes to your mind including the all idea, appearance etc.

 

Colors looks nice, a logo is needed though, also content and more subforums would attract people

 

I agree with the poster above. You need your own logo or it will look like any other generic forums.

 

The idea is to have just a single forum for PHP on which every member will concentrate on, therefore increasing the reply time.

I will work on the logo.

 

Allowing guests to post? Hm, I don't see that going too well in the future.

I would suggest that you center your top adsense banner it's to the left, it looks odd over there.

 

The theme version you have looks great as well and I will surely use it for another forum I plan to setup. I think I will leave the Adsense banner there for a while but I will try your suggestion as well.

 

If you dont need subsection! then why cant you go with vanilla forum script?

I think that is not a bad advise to not let your visitors to post. The thing is if you make people sign up for an account first you will cut down on spam in half. People will post less garbage if they have to sign up first.
