Thou Art My FANTASY is an online comics series I've been publishing for several weeks now.
I'll be happy to hear your comments and suggestions regarding the site in general, and specifically regarding the following aspects: overall design, simplicity of navigation, choice of colors, ad placement, and overall "feeling" from the site (what did you like and what did you hate about it?).

Comments regarding the content are also welcome!

    Thanks!

    Dan

Looks good . The background is nice . suits the niche . you can remove the ad near the logo though . it spoils the design . everything else is fine .

    Thanks for the positive feedback.
Regarding the ads, maybe the solution could be to remove image ads and stick to text ads with the same design (color/font) as the rest of the site... I'll have to figure that one out...
    Thanks again!

I quite like the site! The comic was enjoyable and the artwork was class. Did you make these yourself?

I have got to say though that I am with luckyv about the Ads... I think they take away from the design of the site. The colors for the adverts (bright) don't mesh very nicely with the simple beige background and black and white comics.

I would think about trying something else out or at least trying to remove the banner ads from the top of the front page.

    Hope this helps!!

    Thanks crockstar.
Yes, I made these myself, I'm a hobbyist cartoonist :)
I tried to make the ads the same color as the background, maybe I should try different colors? Or would you suggest moving the ads perhaps to the left column (make it a tower ad?)
BTW, loved the design of your Fashion Week Blog, it's very elegant and consistent with the theme of your blog.

    Hey iser,

That's really kind of you! I wish I could take credit for the design of my blog-- I have made a few tweeks to it but it was a Wordpress template I found initially. Thank you though for taking the time out to check it out.

I think a tower ad would definitely be the way to go in this case. I'm quite blown away that the comics are done by you, that's really cool. I'm always impressed by the people you can find on boards like this... talent seems to be everywhere on the web so it's no surprise how difficult it can be to build up a following.

Try out the tower ad's and I'll do my best to keep track of your cartoons. Good stuff!
