I really would love your honest opinions on my new blog where I teach beginners to write for the web.
It's very clean and informative. I'm not sure if I dig the FULL browser view as opposed the the centered look, but it's not that distracting. Did it come that way in the blog theme? Also, solid use of widgets. <golf clap>
No offense intended but the written english doesn't flow very well and for a blog that teaches others about writing it should
First of all, it redirects us to a subfolder called 'Wordpress' which is a little unprofessional. The social bookmarking buttons are a little to big and stand out too much and to me the website looks too third class, I think it might be the theme. Other than that I think your website is fine, it has a decent amount of content.
Thanks for the input, everyone. I was bugged about those social bookmarking buttons too. Getting rid of them now. I will try to tighten up the writing, I get excited and ramble, always edit articles but didn't edit these posts. I will though. Third class? Ugh, now that one hurts. As far as the URL redirect, when I set up the site I had no intentions of wordpress being in the address, but when I installed it that's what happened. I called Go Daddy and they suggested a redirect, they said there was nothing else I could do. But I have had sites where I installed Wordpress using Fantastico before and it didn't have that extension. I am pretty bummed about this.
Thanks, Raj12345 You mean the wide screen? No but it came with a lot of ability to change things up, which I have now totally screwed up by trying to get it on the URL without the wordpress extension. Can someone tell me now to fix this? My theme is gone, I tried to change the address in the settings section, and eveything went kapute!
