Please review my new blog

I have a new blog for competitive swimming - http://www.competitiveswimmingtips.com

I have posted one article so far, I plan on posting one every three days or so. I already have a bunch lined up.

I did some basic on page SEO, and I plan on submitting some articles to eZine and advertising over Yahoo Answers and other blogs/forums. Any suggestions?

 

Perhaps you could add more content? The themes matches the whole "swim" theme though. Good work.

 

Look if you are wanting to go one more step forward in your online marketing, you should probably start listening to the Internet Business Mastery podcasts, or go to their website.

Another good option is to try to get guest bloggers come and post for you.

To keep link building, I would try to find sports directories, magazines etc that will let you post something, either as a blogger or just a link.

 

it just needs a lot more content, remember content is king! with it being wordpress what i would suggest is that you download lots of awesome seo friendly wordpress plugins and use them with your unique content to get higher search engine rankings. what i would suggest is pumping atleast 30-40 articles per week all 100% unique articles, this way it will get indexed quicker and start ranking high quick!

Thanks guys. I made the design to be clean and fit Adsense well.

I don't want to pump out articles because my well would soon be dry, but within the next week I should have 4 full length articles up, and that's when I'll start heavy duty promotion.

I'm using All in One SEO and Ive optimized the template so that each article ranks for it's own keywords. Any other suggestions,

Mshuong, the domain was for seo mostly, and although it's long, it's easy to read and write - just happens to be made up of big words.

looks very nice, i would edit the template files and replace your site name at the top with a logo

 

I don't have a logo, and I like it's simplicity right now.

 

even if itsjust an image of the sitename is a nice text thats water related it gives that professionality with the modern logo

i agree with everyone else, just need more content and backlinks with the right anchor text, make sure you do some keyword research before optimizing for certain keywords and analyse your competition
