Please review my new blog

I created a new wordpress blog over the weekend with a template I made purely using php and css (so it looks best in firefox). Please let me know what you think..?

Im on firefox and its to plain, to much gray, plain can be great but its a bit dull and depressing if im honest.

 

Its looking empty site you should add more and more content to your site and make a nice header for your site too

 

right column and login form are too wide

 

The site is informative, however from first glance it lacks appeal!

 

I like it, but as someone before me said, it is too plain. Fortunately, this can be easily corrected - just add a slider of some sort in the header. Css-tricks has some nice sliders...

 

Thanks for the feedback so far. I will try to make the header more graphic and appealing.
I tried to just make something nice and simple without images, but I guess it does need something to freshen it up a little.

 

It may be nicer with a well-done header and imaged posts.

I've added a header graphic now to replace the plain text version. I may also add some social buttons and RSS to the far right of it when I start doing those.

 

Plain yes , you should use some color from the logo to carry into the site (orange). Add your blog here addyourblog.com to receive some great blog related traffic..
