Please Review my (Nearly Finished) Site

I am getting close to finishing something that has taken me toooooooo long.

About a year ago i started this project and for one reason or another it kept stopping. Well now i think I am about 2 months away from finishing it and I would like to as for some reviews and comments at this stage while I am on a role, so I will hopfully add anything useful

Home Page Body: Will contain 1 Featured Listing From each catagory.

I think my search is abit crap... so advice and comments on that would be good.

looks good, the only thing that I would change is make a slight contrast in colors between the main body content background and the site background

 

Everything is perfect on your site, it does not matter for how long
something is worked on, the result is the only thing which matters.

I agree that there may be too many banners on the right side, otherwise it is coming together well.

 

thanks... the banners on the right are controled by the CMS.. I just put them there to see what it loks like.

 

the top is really stylish.

you could lose some of the ads though...
