I've been public for about 2 months, but due to problems creating the site design and layout, it really didn't get off the ground until about May 14th. I've had about 800 unique visitors in that time period, so I'm pretty impressed with the possibilities here, but I'm basically coming here because I wanted a review and to get some opinions on things that could need a change. The more feedback the better! I'm also using AdSense as you can see, but in each of my articles I have Commission Junction Affiliate links. I'm not really too interested in the affiliate links and banners right now, but the more content that goes up, maybe something down the road could generate revenue. Oh well, what do you think? Thanks in advance! http://www.nbadraftworld.com
hello. just had a look. I think you should add more relevant content to the site. I did not see any ads on the site, and maybe lack of content is the reason why.
Hmmm. That doesn't make any sense. Relevant content? How isn't my content relevant? Please elaborate on that if you could.. I think you might've went to the wrong site or something here.
Very nice design. But some content is missing, there is not even a single Player Profile, the entire International Players section is empty, etc. - If the section is empty - remove it!!! Don't keep links that lead to nothing, it's a big no no. Try to keep your forum under the same design as the rest of the site. Good luck with, this season is pretty much done. But you can be all 100% ready by the next one.
Thanks for the advice. I know what you mean about having links that just lead nowhere. But the news system I have in place would be a pain for me to have to go back and reconfigure that. I've only had about 10 days to add content, so there are clearly things missing from categories, but my goal is to have everything up and running by the time of this year's NBA Draft. Also, good idea about changing up the forum colors and design, I'm going to have to get to that sometime soon. Thanks!
hi just tried to open your site to have another look at it, but it was giving some 'Page cannot be displayed' error. anywayz.. when i said abt content, I meant that you should add more related content to the home page. When I saw your site, I didn't see any ads being served. If you have more content, there will be a chance that SOME ad(s) is being served on the site. Will try to see ur site again later...
