Hi there, Please take a look and let me know your thoughts about my recently re-launched mp3 download and lyric site: http://web2txt.co.uk/ We've got over 3.8 million legal music downloads plus over 1.3 million lyrics. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks
The site got alot of content and that is nice. But its to "red" for my taste. it felt like a flashbang at night when i enterd the site.
Initial thought: It took about 20 seconds to load... I agree with brahim... it's very red. A decent start but you should rework those colors.
For the style you're going for, I think it is fine. It's personally not my aesthetic, and I would tone back the red a bit, but it is relatively navigable and not too hard on the eyes.
There are four colour schemes, red is only for one quadrant of our content. Wow, 20 seconds, that's terrible, apologies! There is a bug in one of the database tables, it isn't as well optimised as it should be and sometimes when that's hit with an insert or update it causes locking on the rest of the tables till it's done, I'm aware, it's very intermittant and whilst it only effects one in very many users it is a real pain in the butt. Generally speaking the site should be fast, very fast. It's hosted with RackSpace and most static content is served through CDN's. Relatively navigable? You should see the depth of the spiderings that are going on, viewing the number of pages per second that the search engines are there isn't really that much of an issue with navigation or speed. -- Please, no more references to the colours. -- Thanks for the feedback so far.
hello.. i agree with others.. i think i prefer use the other red.. a little get more darker red maybe.. but, over all, your site make easier to find many songs and music..
needs lots of work on theme. does not look like music site. check other music sites around. like www.bollymp3online.com
It's a bit too busy and bright, and colour choices aside, the biggest problem is that the standard font and graphics make it look unprofessional.
Bullshit, don't tell me my site needs lots of work when it's legitimate by contributing a high percentage of turnover back to the industry and the link you dropped which I guess is your site is promoting illegal pirate downloads. I do not value your opinion, you're stealing food from the tables of the artists, the producers, backing singers, session musicians and everybody else involved in the music production food chain. Just think, if everyone pirated music who'd pay for the studio time and all the musicians that are involved, who'd pay for the record label execs with pony tails to have three bottles of vintage red and two grams of cocaine for lunch? I did specifically say no more references to colours, I can only assume half of you can't read however I have taken note and am talking to a designer about getting the template funked up, made much more user friendly and attractive.
