The blog has potential but there is room for improvement, I think it would look better if you add a header with a professional logo and some graphics. Having the adlinks ad and the adbrite ad at the top of the page is too much you should remove one of them.
The homepage doesn't look like a home page. I would make the site title larger and within a header which has a logo or some other graphics.
