Hello, I'd like some reviews/advice for my website http://www.marketing-training-center.com Basically, I've been collecting marketing ideas for years since I took Marketing in University. I launched the first 450 ideas, and I have a couple more batches ready to go pretty soon here. My goal with the website is to incorporate an element of involvement by allowing users to submit marketing ideas, and ultimately to get visitors to submit 300 word articles that expand on a marketing idea on the website. Although, the article stuff is only loosely being promoted at this point. I'm looking for: Ideas to monetize the website Ideas to encourage idea submissions and articles Reviews of my business model And just overall any ideas, suggestions, feedback, criticism, etc you can offer. Thanks!
Nothing so far hey. I figured my site was fairly relevant to most digital pointers seeing as most of you are marketers, and the site is an online library containing hundreds of marketing ideas. Any reviews would be much appreciated. Cheers
Nice concept and layout, I would adjust the header image to the size of you content tables/div below it.
adwaitk007, I have 3 text/image units + 1 link unit, that's allowed as far as I understand it. Am I wrong about that?
I'm glad everybody so far likes it, how would you all go about getting the word out about something like this? I think there's a huge audience for this, how would you suggest I let all of them know I'm open for business?
your website has fresh layout and fixed, you placed many ads in the right sidebar so that the visitor might click them, website element in left and amazon badge. look nice
The site is good enough. But I think right sidebar is all fed up with Ads It would be better to have that "leaderboard" banner on the left sidebar. Good work. Sarim.
Despite the fact it is a stock joomla template, I think you did great. Content is king remember that, good job filling the site with what people come for. Its not always design, but that helps too
Thanks xtek, I really wondered if anybody would notice that. I'm definitely going to revamp the menu at the least to make it less obvious (when my to-do list shrinks a bit). I kind of went with what you said "Content is king" and have been focusing on that first. Next 150 ideas are coming this week at some point, and a couple more batches next month. Promotion is taking a lot of time as well, and it's going fairly well - but I'm definitely looking for something big to get the word out if anybody has any suggestions.
