OK, it should be made more attractive. work on that feel my love banner...its not very good...use the gimp! its free software. Since u used a template, u should probably update the copyright at the bottom right hand of screen - it will look more professional.

If you only change one thing to that site, let it be your logo. You can get a good logo from designers in this forum (contest section) from $10-$20.
That aside, I would reconsider the theme color.
If it's a lovers network, I'd use the heart-warming colors of love - pink, turquoise, purple,etc.
If it's about showing love and care to one another as reflected in the Millard Fuller quote, I'd use the colors of nature/care - green, sky blue, etc.

The user can choose the theme he or she wants.
I will seriously consider your view on logo and the colour match of the site (for all users in common)

the back ground was killing me i just keep looking at it know my eyes hurt

 

The news section should be bigger, not compressed to the left.

 

You should get a professional design for the website.

 

you must change the script or home page and the logo too.

 

Yea, you need to change logo ASAP and maybe colors on site.

I would really change the flash animation in the background (don't know if it's flash or not) but it's a little hard on the eyes.

I like the concept though, the site makes sense.

 

The background with glowing hearts, it just doesn't look professional. You can add a theme to make the site look more attractive
