This is my first landing page. I was using redirection before this but no sales. Now trying this. Would you guys please pour in your comments? Landing page: weightlossin11days.info Also, in the johnonbox, the button (tell me now) has a blue border around it. It is a link but how do I remove that blue lining and only keep the button? Should I build a list? I know it is important but this is what makes me hesitant. EZA articles -> my blog -> my landing page -> (list) -> product landing page -> order page I will be writing teaser articles on various directories and link them back to my blog, which would link to my landing page. So, do you think there is so much of clicking going on? Currently, (tell me now) button directly takes to the product landing page. Also, I would be writing articles on my blog and post teasers on directories. So, do you think its better to make my blog popular as it would link to my landing page or should I include my landing page with articles on various directories or both? The product I am promoting is fat burning furnace. Is it good? The gravity is high but I didn't choose product just because of that. I liked the landing page and earlier I had no luck with fatloss4idiots. Any one promoting this product? Thank you. Regards, 15challenger
Sorry, it's almost midnight in my country so I am very tired right now! Well, I am not a super affliate but in my opinion you should try less sellsy landing page - tell them a story, like I've gained 59 pounds in the last year, bla bla bla, my confidence dropped.....couldn't look at my self... I've tried everything I could find - cardio, diets, pills........nothing worked.....I got sick of sweating in a gym for nothing.... Started looking for another solution....someone tolled me that there is a great ebook.... Well, I think you get the point...don't try to sell them, the vendor site will take care of that part!
The first thing you need to do is correct the grammar. There are several mistakes in the sections that you wrote. You need additional pages such as Privacy, Contact Us, etc. The FTC is looking for pages exactly like this. You really should read their new guidelines. The "as seen on tv" thing and those testimonials will really cause you trouble. Good luck!!
Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. And not only that, but they'll cost you sales, too. Do you seriously imagine that potential customers look at that sort of stuff and don't think "This person is trying to fool me?"! It's up to you, of course ... but speaking for myself, when I'm trying to sell something to someone, the very last thing I want them thinking is "This person is trying to fool me". So you thought you'd try another high-gravity product in the same niche? The "triumph of hope over experience", as one might say? Good luck with that!
^^ Everything mentioned above + you need a strong call to action near the middle of the page somewhere or something that is more enticing for a potential customer to click rather than "Yes, Tell me now!" at the very bottom of the page. A lot of people won't even get that far before they jump off your page. The whole point of a landing page is to warm them up a bit and then get them off your page and to the sales page quickly.
just quickly here is a suggested correction to your intro. "My friends spent huge amount of money and time going to gym and spending much more on equipments for weight loss but when they saw how I lost weight at home without any exercise or starving diet, they all were..." " My friends spent huge amounts of time and money going to the gym and even more on equipment for weight loss but when they saw how I lost weight at home without any exercise or diets they were all .... " also; on your big red headline, you need to take off the s from gym equipments; corrected to gym equipment. I hope that helps a little.
your before and after shots are pretty terrible. cloak your links still. You need privacy, contact pages and or copyright in the footer. instead of going from Ezine to your blog then the lp just go straight from ezine to your lp.
^^ I am sorry to all those who are seeing an empty blog. I am testing few things. Landing page will be up soon. Thank you for all the suggestions. One question, landing page or review blog? I am going to test it but still any one experienced can share his/her experience.
You really need to sit down and figure out what you are doing, or want to do. Before putting a page/site up you need to know what keywords you are targeting, what product etc. That will help you determine what kind of site you want to start off with. You will build your site around your keywords. Also, how are you intending to get traffic to it? PPC or article marketing? This makes a heck of a difference.
^^ I would be trying out different niches. Weight loss is one of them. I know it is pretty saturated but I am just trying it out. I would be using article marketing.
Nothing wrong with weight loss. Although it is saturated it is a good one. Your success will depend on your niche. And of course, niche is not "weight loss". And your niche determines your keywords, which in turn determines the best type of site/landing page you should have. For example, "drop the fat before summer" is a niche. You will be trying to target those fat people who want to look good in their bathing suit. Keywords could be drop the fat and drop the fat before summer. Your landing page would then have drop the fat in the title, sub title, and through out your page. The only problem with weight loss industry is that the FTC, google, and article directories have clamped down on this industry making it harder to market. It isn't impossible, just more difficult. Good luck!
IMO, Landing Page is more powerful for short term or if you are about to use PPC and Blog for Long term where you'll be building Readership of related people.
