Very nice design!
Shadow and reflection on right banner is not natural.
Rest is very good.

The layout and the colors are very good, the banner is just too dark.

I actually added a sales page that I was trying to get people to.... You can view the sales page by clicking on the book on the right hand side.

One thing though, I am viewing on a widescreen 24" and there seems to be a lot of empty space at the side.

This is a great niche that should do well with AdSense. I would make the logo larger and make it flat (instead of the gradient you have now). Nice and good luck.

You are using Woo Theme ? Dunno why but its taking so much time to load!

 

Yea I am using a Wootheme....

I don't have an idea why either... It loads pretty fast on my end.

 

i like the theme. but the logo is way off.. fix that and it's perfect

 

I like the colors. I would make 2 suggestions:

1) On the front page you have 3 large images with excerpts and then 6 small images with excerpts ... I would have more excerpt on the the first 3 (3 paragraphs, 300 words) and then just put headlines for the bottom.

2) On your 'sales' page where the book is - make the header clickable back to the front home page of the blog.

 

Nice site, but maybe you should use a fixed width. The right side is not good, and i'm using a 22" wide screen.

 

Any suggestions on how to do that?
