The red background just doesn't seem to fit something for children's clothing and the Color/Size boxes for certain categories extend too far outside the index area. On a good note, your site does load pages fast and I like the blog updates in the far upper right appearing as 'Latest News'
I really loved the actual items that you sell in your store, I would definately buy something for my niece from here. You have just replied about the tone of red, and that was going to be my major point to change, as it just did my eyes in a little bit. But overall I thought the site was easy to navigate and use.
There is nothing wrong with the design and layout. It is quite handy and at ease. I guess you should go for some social media campaigns targeting moms.
i second emotion with the red color man! its soo bloody! but anyway, i like the concept itself. you just have to focus more on improving the sites main interface.
Many successful companies do have strong brand identity in their colour eg Coke but another successful company is firebox that uses strong orange colours. Many websites are so boring with safe greys and greens. I felt for a strong alternative brand like mine we need strong colour - something to remember. But you all seem to disagree or can you see my point?
