Please Review my humor / funny email site

Hello everyone,
I have created this site to store all the strange things I’ve been mailed over the years.

It’s now at a stage where I’m feeling kind of happy with what I have made, but would really appreciate some constructive criticism mainly on the following points.
SEO: is there anything I can change on the site?
Layout: do you all like the layout can you navigate around the site?
Categories: these look pretty weak, but I don’t know what I can do, any Ideas?
General comments: anything you would do if it was your site.

I think the design and logo need a bit of improvement. The colors just don't work well together

 

It's not too bad, although I agree with the comment above that the colours are a bit wonky. The blue and yellow work, but the beige background and green in the logo aren't quite working. Also, on the sidebar nav pages (example, here: http://www.lol-email.com/jokes/01/accidents/) the icons you have don't really make much sense and aren't very attractive. Find some new images there.

 

The colors need to match, try changing that.

 

I agree with the posters above, color schematics are really awkward.

The green view button and blue rating stars are just awful.

Everything else is alright.

 

The main thing that I dislike from your site is that I have to scroll right and left to find out what things are put on the sidebars. I use Firefox. I also agree with the above opinions that you need to change your rating stars design. It just doesn't match at all and it looks really weird to look at the stars. Perhaps it is not because of the blue color, but rather because it looks like has a blurring effect.

 

The footer is bad...

 

hiya... your site is too width in my screen. I should drag bottom slider to left or right to read all of your site.
You've a layout base on absoulte width. Change it to relative size using %. It's a solution to fit any size of the monitor size of your visitors.

 

The page loads very very slowly .
The layout is not bad .

I think the general feeling is the color scheme is the main problem.
The problems seem to be the beige background, green buttons and blue stars.

Could someone suggest a color I use that would go well?

Hello in your site every thing is allright it would look more gorgeous if you can use a contrast colour. Well what i think its full of colours and due to which the out look of it is bit reduced. You can use a contrast colour which would really help you to move smoothly and to get more popularity. All the best for your future.
