You should align the advertisement to the right and in its place put a logo of some sort. Otherwise it's a pretty clean design and the color scheme is original and seems to work.
First things first, your site has a neat looking theme. But the ad on the top is not looking good and I don't think many people will click it!! I was also wondering if you could change the color light blue to something else.
Excellent design. I suggest having someone take another look at your content, though. I immediately noticed several grammatical errors. Otherwise looks good.
