Please Review my Growing Downloads Website

    Hello. I've had this site for about 3 years now and it has changed quite a lot in that time. But I was wondering what everyone here thinks about it. Any suggestions are welcome, especially on layout, ad placement, files hosted, etc. Thanks!

    Please, set background color other than default (I have gray, and this doesn't look good, I presume it should be white, but it isn't on my browser). Besides that, site is designed quite well.

    Thank you, and yes, the background should be white, so I'm not sure why it's coming up as gray for you. Very strange...

    You have to add 'background-color:#FFFFFF;' somwhere in body style definition. Probably.

    Well, it's not a new site. I've had it for nearly 3 years and it's always been white for me, in both Firefox and IE on any PC, it's been white. That's why I thought it was strange for you to see it as gray. Can you send a screenshot? Thanks. :)

    Uhm... I told you - you have not defined background-color for body and my browser (opera) uses default color which I can set whatever I can, green, red or gray - just set it, and then everything be allright on all browsers with any settings.

    What I meant was, it should have been set already.

    Strange... it WAS set to be white before, but I've recently updated my downloads script (I didn't make it) and I wonder if that was something accidentally left out. Anyway, hopefully it's fixed now. :)

    The content looks a bit too cluttered.. especially the first part of your content area. What I would do is have the table placed first, then the rest of the content below.

    @8everything
    What do you mean the table placed first? Which section or block are you talking about?

    @trichnosis
    Because of the amount of traffic I get and whatnot, and because of all of my clients I host, I have to use two dedicated servers. On top of that, I use large amounts of bandwidth, so my monthly costs are high, around $900 actually. So the only way I can afford that is with my ads (well, most of it is through my ads anyway). I'll think about the logo change though.

    @grg
    Good. :)

    Thanks all.

    I think you will have to go in for a nice theme as it looks very messy...

    Visitors like some free space

    Thank you for your comments.

    I'm curious, at what resolution is everyone using while looking at my site? :)

    Great. I usually use 1280x1024 and mostly try to make my site work for 1024x768 or higher, but definitely no less. Thanks. :)
