    As I am blind I would appreciate any suggestions regarding placement and color, etc

    Your Alternative Health Articles section is left aligned and the rest are centered.
    I notice it doesnt have java on it like the rest. perhaps this is why?

    This is a great site. The topic is excellent, and the site looks informative. Perhaps you could help the site visitor to navigate better by directing them to take an action. Example: SIGN UP FOR GREEN CLUB
