    I simply hate google ads on websites these days. If you can loose the ads it will be more appealing to me. hope that helps.

    I would add green and trees/plants, that sort of thing. Also get a domain name and forward your blogger to it.

    you site idea is good,
    page readability has issue,
    you are using green text color , it is not user friendly
    i advise you concentrate your design element on header area, and the user area should be simple and readbale.

    i think if you understand my point. the user of your site is facing the problem, the solution of this problem you use the theme of blog or name of blog in header area only and use the proper color in navigation and text area.
