Here is my new site GasPumpStop.com to check Current Gas Prices

OK, after previously starting a thread discussing it's launch, I have finally got the time to install the template and point the domain to my server. The site is not finished I only have the front page done. I just want to hear opinions so far. I will add the blog and forum later and tidy up the site later when I have time.

I want any opinions on design etc. Thanks.

I just said I haven't started the forum or blog or contact sections only the front page. But I added the blog page, and contact pages now just after you replied. That part uses the same template as the front page and I haven't added contact to those sections so nothing to see there anyways.

Ill have to add content to blog, and create the forum section later. I also need to fix up the template a bit on the blog page. I just put up the template now so obviously lots of work and content to be done, but this should be a general idea of where im headed.

Just needed ideas on the site so far.

When first visiting the multi colored map really drew my attention. The layout is pretty clean. A quick search of my zip provided 2 results, which isn't bad for my sized city.

Start beefing up the blog with reposted news about gas and original content! Good luck!

Yeah Im going to add original content to the blog. Thats why I won't get around to it for a while until I find time. The forum is going to have a lot of interesting folders too once I set it up. I just need opinions on the site so far and ill worry about the rest later.

I put together the logo myself. I had been trying about 4 different things, and that seemed the best one I did.

I just removed a div tag so now it went up a couple lines higher. If you can design a really nice logo Ill pay you for it. Something with "GasPumpStop.com" in the Logo and something that is exactly 792 width that fits the main page is what i need.

Nice site, I like what you did with the logo.

It just needs to fill the top space a bit more.

More content would help. The fuel saving tips is a good start.

Thanks. The content basically will be on the blog and the forum will have many folders on different topics, obviously I haven't really started either of those yet.

Hey great advice about needing to fill up the top space a bit more on the logo. I was bugged a little about the extra white space on the right but didn't know what to do to fill it up. I decided to fill up the blank right space with a picture of a guy filling up gas. now my logo looks more filled up. I think im done with the logo now. I think its now where I want it.

Nice site. Too bad I can't click on the map to go to that location's prices. Seems easy enough once you type in the zip code, but I did click my location on map first :(

I'd reformat the tips, that table isn't the nicest to read.

Definitely more content, the web is packed with gas price news at the moment. Now is the time to cash in to this avalanche of info, exposure and excitement.
