    Hi, guys,

This is cheng, the developer of a free image editing software called Photobie.
I am planning to have my website redesigned, In fact, a great graphics professional is working on it at this moment.

In the meantime, could you please take a look at my current site and give me some suggestions, I might incorperate them into my new web design.

    My website is :

    http://www.photobie.com

    Thank you!

sorry if this sounds harsh but

    backround change it

text use one colour and stick to it as text in sidebars is hard to read

and lose 90% of the ads

    Cute domain name :)

For the site, I think a solid background color would look nicer. As for the fonts, try keeping it one style only. And I have to agree, remove some of the ads or make them look nicer in the layout..

Thanks, changes are made for font and color.
Due to top logo banner was designed before, and I have no plan to changed it at this moment. thus I have to use the gradient background, to let text can be show on lighter background.

However, in the comming new webdesign, the logo and top banner will be totally changed.

Regarding the ad banners, sorry, this is crutial for revenue generation, no way to take them all out. Nowadays, visitors have to live up with that (Ads by google is all over the web). What I can do is to pick up the best fit banner to put there
In my next version of web design it is gonna be a challenge to fit in those banner without breaking the layout.

Thanks again, and looking for more advice :)

I also like the color scheme.. But since it is a image software.. try removing the adbrite ad for now.. as the site is relatively new..

its too dark for photo site. You can add your site a little bit color. And font that you choose is too classic.
