well... its a forum... you actualy picked one of my favorite skins of phpbb, but phpbb its not the best option at the moment.

I would rather recomend punbb or smf

 

Looks good, you could maybe just do a little bit more with that top banner of yours.

 

Change the background of the logo to match the grey background on the forum,

Yes, the forum is good. The logo's background could be better. Just find out the color of your forum background and match it as close as possible. Other then that it's great!
