I'd like to know some of your honest opinions on my forum , PostExchanger.com . It's for new forum owners to trade posts with other members. I am working on a skin and logo, but what do you think of the idea? Does it have potential? What do you think of the sites speed? What can I do to make it better? Thanks.
If it's a forum about exchanging posts, I would probably get rid of the other sections not related to it, especially such as buy/sell domains, graphic design, gaming, plus others. In my opinion, I would just stick to the idea of exchanging posts only otherwise there are two many unrelated boards to post at.
your forum looks great!... i like the color..looks very professional and you have good ad placement too.. since it is a new forum, i can't say much but i hope you are working on the membership.. so far so good.. the ip board logo is not bad but maybe you need a unique logo.. i like your forum and for the layout and the color i give you 8/10.. i'll check back later! good luck
They buy and trade section is relevant to the main topic. My forum uses a point system, so more topics are required for people to gain points and be able to use them towards post requests. The buy/sell section is similar to the one on this forum, they can use their points towards useful things if they don't want any more forum posts. It gives a reason for members to stick around after they are done trading.
The design looks neat and professional, but I would play around with the header a bit. The header should make it clear what the focus of the forum is, in this case it does not. Perhaps it would be a good idea to lose the banner until you have more traffic. That way it does not distract new visitors from the theme of your site. best of luck, Nick TheSmallMerchant.com
I agree, your forum has way too many sections, I suggest you delete some of those sections. And I suggest you make a logo for your forum. good luck
