My forum is generally quite new but I managed to get it up to pr4 on the last google update after some link building. However I am trying to get at least on the first google search page for teh term 'football forums' But the search engines will not even match that keyword with my site at all. You are on google page 5, position 7. Keep up with links, you need thousand or more linking to you with football related keywords. Keep your anchor text keywords different
Football forums isn't used in your description tag and would help. Your title has 50% density, which is good. Your meta keywords is 9.5%. Other than that you haven't even used it on the page. How can you try to rank for a keyword phrase you don't use? Amazing!
