The pop ups have to go, also you have 9k+ members so you should have there emails, let me ask you something...

no we don't....we don't send them emails.

WOW you don't send them emails? You are leaving at least 1k/month on the table there, and no I think pop ups look spammy and will probably stop some people signing up.

If you decide to do email marketing let then know its you the admin that's contacting them, don't make your emails look like blatant promotions, give them a more personal touch.
