Your website loads very slowly. I am not a big fan of the theme colors. The blue and orange colors don't go very well together.
The font color is a little light. You may want to make the text color a little stronger so that it contrats better with the background and it is easier to read.

 

loaded fine here. colors look good to me.

page loads fine for me. i have to agree, the colour just does not seem right. perhaps it is only my choice but perhaps black and a deep blue with white txt.

overall very good.

 

I really like your web 2.0 header design But.. I think it stands out too much on the site.. What I would do is place it all the way at the top and make it wider. The rest of the layout looks great however

 

fast load looks nice i would go with a lil darker colors but nice job

Change your forums colour because Yellow and Blue doesn't seems that much good. Good luck dude.

Maybe try to create a traditional looking head, it is modern. I think people who like chess would like a classic look, it calms down the mind.
