Hi I have this site for about two months. I just want to get an idea of what other people think of the site and how I could improve it. The site is www.footballexpert.net Thanks
Football is my favourite sport. You can add more green colors, grass (picture) in the background, remove the grey color. All the rest seems to be ok.
The theme looks simple but nice. I like your header image. Maybe you could change your logo text a bit and add some more effects.
I was getting a javascript error, and it looks like some images are missing... Nice design and layout..easy to read and find my way around..
This is a very good website, as people are saying you might want to chose a background with more relevance to the websites theme, something like grass. Clicking on the Football Clubs, About buttons opens up an advert in a new tab. There is an advert at the bottom of the page that is operlapping some of the buttons. There are a few spelling mistakes : "These clips are funny but you have to fell for some of the refs and linesman in these football videos." - Comedy Football "We have a football club history page and football players page which is full of information on some of the best football players around the world.<.font>" - About I didn't see any others but i probably missed some as it is 3 am. Apart from those things this is a good site, keep up the good work.
Ah, I stumbled onto this site yesterday and spent a lot of time catching up with the news (devastated about Ole Solskjaer )... anyhow... Personally I like the theme - only thing i'd suggest is sprucing up your logo - the rest of the design is very crisp and its only thing aspect letting it down. Even just having sharper, more prominent text would be an improvement. I'm going to have to disagree with suggestions to add a grass background or something to that effect - I personally think it'll look a little too messy unless its extremely subtle. I just don't see it meshing well with the rest of the design. It could potentially work if the blog were aligned to the left; in which case you could have a background image of a footballer to the right, with grass or an alternative underneath him, stretching down the rest of the background... not sure if I can explain it fully - but i'm thinking about the sort of thing you see on Nike ads, for example, with the dark tones and black/grey backgrounds. If you don't know what I mean then just ignore me Aside from that, love the site and its already in my bookmarks =)
